WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - Initially disappointed with his first impression of college life, a Purdue student chose to switch schools in order to find something better.

Justin Isenthal, a senior in the College of Health and Human Sciences, began his college career at the University of Kentucky. However, Isenthal said he knew early on that Kentucky was not the right place for him.

By the end of his first semester, Isenthal had decided that he wanted to transfer schools, but he ended up waiting until halfway through his sophomore year to make the switch to Purdue. Isenthal was able to adjust quickly to campus through people he already knew and by joining Purdue’s chapter of his fraternity, Sigma Chi.
