WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - After a racist note was written on a whiteboard in the Krannert library late Wednesday night, students and faculty leaders met Thursday night to discuss the incident.
Tyrell Connor, the President of the Black Graduate Student Foundation, was a part of that discussion and said they met to make sure proper action is taken.
"It was clearly a racist event," Connor, a Ph.D. student in law and society, said. "We're trying to figure out how we should act upon this ... and go further letting the campus know that we take these actions seriously. They shouldn't be tolerated here at Purdue."
