WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - The multitude of questions during the discussion portion of Monday’s University Senate meeting demonstrated the lack of faculty involvement in the plans for the new trimester system.
Faculty members had the opportunity to express their concerns to administration about the planned trimester system during the meeting.
At the start of discussions, acting president Tim Sands admitted all the details of the system are not finalized, and said the concerns raised would give administration the opportunity to consider roadblocks as they move forward.
“We’ve been planning a very slow process, so we have time to make discoveries, have those discussions,” Sands said.
