WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - In its second meeting of the semester, Purdue Student Government spent about 75% of its $12,346 co-sponsorship budget on four events.

The senators passed four bills totaling $9,500 on funding for Purdue's Agriculture Week, Grand Prix, Zeta Tau Alpha's Big Man On Campus and National Engineering Week. All the proposed bills got their requested amount except Zeta Tau Alpha's Big Man On Campus, which was amended to reduce the funding by 50% to $ 1,500. A requirement was also added to allow Purdue Student Government to speak at the event.

Vice President Lexi Hiland said Purdue student government has funds dedicated to co-sponsorships because it gets a lot of requests.
