Purdue employee writes Christian fiction that breaks mold

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - A Purdue employee has finally published his first novel despite many challenges.

Michael Humphrey, the building deputy at Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts, has published his first book, titled “All Living.” This book, technically classified as Christian fiction, is not typically what people expect from the genre. It follows the story of the virtually immortal Kole, who is really the first son of Adam and Eve, as he tells his 6,000-year life story in a modern-day setting.

“It kind of started out simple enough,” said Humphrey. “I was just doing a little bit of studying and a couple scriptures didn’t seem to immediately jive with each other, so it got me started asking questions and looking for answers.”
