WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) -

With each pick of the NBA Draft sliding by faster and faster, for an instant, Robbie Hummel lost hope of even being selected.

With only three picks remaining in this year's draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves selected Hummel 58th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, immediately setting off an eruption of joy amongst Hummel's draft party at Bruno's Pizza.

"I was thinking, 'What am I going to say to all these people?'" Hummel said. "The point of tonight was to watch the draft to see me get picked. I'm not going to lie, I would have been extremely disappointed if I wouldn't have been picked. I was starting to think, 'What do we have to do next?'"
