WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - U.S. senator Joe Donnelly stopped by Purdue on Thursday, and briefly met with the University’s new president, Mitch Daniels.
The details of the meeting were not immediately available, but it was described as friendly by Ben Ray, Donnelly’s press secretary.
“Senator Donnelly was very excited about Daniels taking office,” Ray said. “He wanted to congratulate him, see if there was anything he could do to help (Daniels).”
