WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - The head of the Brian Lamb School of Communication has recently stepped down and looks forward to the school’s future.

Howard Sypher said that looking back at his career at Purdue, his effort for setting the infrastructure for a reputable communication school has been his proudest moment.

“My legacy, if I have any, will probably be building connections to other strong units on campus and in building sustainable links to top-ranked communication schools at the very best universities in the world,” Sypher said. “I think that we’ve begun to build a foundation that will lead to us (becoming) a destination major in the future.”
