Jonathan Eifler 2012 Golden Apple

It is our character that supports the promise of our future. Jonathan Eifler's character helps guarantee the future of his students. As a science teacher at Oakland High School, he recognizes that students have a variety of learning styles.  Where as some are best taught with hands-on activities while others benefit from straight facts.  Jonathan does an outstanding job at molding his curriculum to be understandable to all of his students regardless of their learning style.  He connects with his students on a personal level as well as in the classroom.  When students come into Jonathan's classroom he not only focuses on their academic needs but also their social and emotional needs to help them succeed in their lives outside of the classroom as well.
