Morning News Anchor

 

WLFI-TV is seeking a 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. weekday Morning News Anchor. Applicants must have camera presence, solid vocal delivery, clear enunciation and ability to relate to viewers. Also, this position requires strong reporting skills, ability to develop local contacts and local stories, clear writing, good use of video and sound in telling stories and ability to post stories to our web site. Two years of television experience, 4-year college degree in Journalism and valid drivers license required. CBS affiliate in a Big 10 University town, one hour from Indianapolis and 2 1/2 hours from Chicago. We're owned by LIN Television and offer opportunity to grow. News Videographer

WLFI-TV is seeking an entry level news videographer who wants to learn a craft. We practice the NPPA style of shooting and will help the successful candidate get the tools to do the job. Applicants must have an Associate's Degree in broadcast videography and an internship in a commercial television newsroom. Some experience shooting on DV cameras preferred and non-linear editing experience required. Must have good driving record and valid drivers license.
