We welcomed Sue to the WLFI staff in October of 1995 as a reporter/producer. She is now our Executive Producer, anchoring the 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts.
She is from Glasford, Illinois. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts and University of Illinois, Springfield with a Master of Arts. Her first job in journalism was as News Director for WGLO Radio in Pekin, Illinois. Sue also worked several years as a reporter for WASK/WKOA in Lafayette. She has won several Indiana AP Broadcast awards.
Sue enjoys horseback riding, skiing, hiking, photography and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her son. Sue is involved in several community organizations including CHAPS, The Public Schools Foundation of Tippecanoe County, MDA Telethon, and March of Dimes. Sue was recognized for her community involvement by receiving a 2003 YWCA Salute To Women Award. Sue was named employee of the year in 2005 and joined LIN Television's Circle of Excellence.
