Jamie Jackson joins Morning Team 18

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - WLFI is proud to announce Jamie Jackson will be joining NewsChannel 18 This Morning with Liz Nichols and Meteorologist Cameron Hopman.

Jackson started his career as a reporter trainee at WPXI in Pittsburgh. He continued his television career at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He then moved on to WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio as an anchor and reporter.

“I am very excited with the opportunity to work in this great city. I look forward to being part of NewsChannel 18 This Morning and starting our viewers’ day off right.” Jackson said.

WLFI General Manager Marc Elliott said “We are excited to have Jamie join our morning news team.” He added, “NewsChannel 18 This Morning is such an integral part of people’s morning routine. Adding Jamie solidifies our commitment to morning news in the community.”

Beginning Thursday October 27, Jamie started as morning anchor Monday through Friday at 5:00 a.m.
