nature of the disclosure." 3>>tippecanoe county prosecutors have filed charges against the woman accused of kidnapping a two year old.>>it happened last night in lafayette.jessilyn gardiner is charged with kidnapping, criminal confinement, auto theft and criminal recklessness.police were called to a home on north 10th street last night for a report of a child abduction. prosecutors say gardiner took off in stephanie brooke's vehicle - with brooke's child in the car.as gardiner was driving away, the vehicle knocked brooke to the ground. the child and the vehicle were later found at a home on south river road.gardiner was arrested nearby. 3>> news 18s jenna liston spoke with the alleged victim today. she joins us live on 10th street with her story, jenna? >>stephanie brooke has not slept since she witnessed her daughter being taken away by jessilyn gardinershe ran after her until police showed up, and the search to find her felt like an eternity.#@"i had no idea 3she would do something that, no clue at all." stephanie brooke didn't plan on staying in lafayette for long.she was living with jessilyn gardiner for a few days while she was looking for a new place to live.until wednesday night when police were called to the 900 block of north 10th street. 3"we were out here and i told her that i didn't want to, it was a bad idea." 3gardiner asked brooke to her to go pick up her child. because she didn't have a valid driver's license, brooke told her no."i decided that right now this is a bad idea, it's 9:30 at night, i'm not driving fifty miles away to go and pick up your kid."when she refused, brooke got out of the car and walked around the back to get her 2-year-old daughter out of the back seat.gardiner then jumped into the driver's seat and took off with brooke's daughter and knocking brooke to the ground."i jumped up and i didn't feel anything, i didn't feel i had been hurt of anything i just started running after her, yelling her name, and i heard my daughter crying and i just ran forever." she used a nearby neighbor's phone to call the police. tippecanoe county sherriff's deputies received a phone call on south river road to find gardiner and brooke's daughter. gardinder told a nearby neighbor she had "done something bad" and there was a child in the stolen car. lafayette police sergeant matt gard says these situations are hard for everyone."that is a tragic, traumatic event for many parties, between the parents and the children, it doesn't get a whole lot worst than that when it affects a child. we're just very glad it ended up well in this case.but for brooke, this will speed up her process of moving out."i just need to get out of here."@#>>brooke tells me she was thankful for the cooperation from officers and deputies last night.she says she will be moving out by the end of this week.in lafayette, jenna liston,
