Stolen semi damages local neighborhood

Lafayette police arrested a man after he stole a semi. It happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)— Lafayette police arrested a man after he stole a semi. It happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to LPD, Kyle Stout stole the semi and drove it from a Lafayette business. He left the semi in the 2700 block of Tristan Drive in Lafayette. That's where police were called after they said Stout caused minor property damage in the area.

He was caught between County Roads 450 and 500 South. A utility pole and power breaker were damaged.
