LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)—The Lafayette Noon Optimist Club is selling Christmas Trees to the community. The Club has set up at various locations around Lafayette since 1959. This year, the trees are set up for sale at the Frozen Custard on South Main Street in Lafayette.

The trees are already cut and trimmed for pick up. They are open until Dec. 15. Optimist Club Spokesperson Michael Bucy said this is a great way to give back to the community.

"What we do that is different, is we are all volunteers, and so all of this money, every dime of it, minus some minor expenses, goes to the community, to kids programs," Bucy said.

There is a limited supply of trees. Bucy said to get yours as soon as possible.
