Klondike Road back open after gas leak

The gas leak on Klondike Road has been contained and the road is now open again.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) —The gas leak on Klondike Road has been contained and the road is now open again.

As we reported earlier, Klondike Road was closed between Cumberland Ave. and just north of Horizon Dr. due to a gas leak.

The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's office advised people to avoid the area earlier Thursday. The road opened again around 5:30 p.m.
