PLYMOUTH, Ind. (WLFI) — Central Catholic went into the season as a young, relatively inexperienced team, but nearly rode that mantra to the state championship game.

The Knights out-hit Boone Grove Saturday, 4-1, but the Wolves' lone hit was an RBI.

Boone Grove beat Central Catholic 1-0, mostly thanks to the arm of Ty Bothwell.

Bothwell struck out 13 batters in the game.

Central Catholic loses three seniors going forward: Jake Marin, Ben Berenda, and Jack Hudson.
