LAFAYETTE, Ind, (WLFI) — One Lafayette Church is on a mission to help keep people warm on chilly days.

But in order to accomplish this, the church needs help from the community.

This is the third year the church is having its annual winter coat drive.

They will be distributing the coats to the homeless and needy.

Donations can be dropped off at the church. New and slightly used coats and winter apparel are being collected.

Drop off times are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the month of November, Monday through Thursday.

Last year, the drive gathered more than 300 coats for redistribution.
