TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A Maryland boy is sentenced for being behind a hoax bomb threat to an Indiana school last year. The unnamed minor will spend two years in an Indiana prison, then be supervised by Maryland authorities until his 21st birthday.

Investigators say the boy was working with a local teen who has also now been sentenced.

Last April, Terre Haute North High School was evacuated and swept by SWAT teams, after the boy called claiming to have weapons and explosives inside.

The FBI credits two Terre Haute detectives for finding the suspect, who has been tied to 12 other threats across the country.
