WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)— The country is a year into the Trump Presidency. While some support, some are resisting the values coming out of Washington. Locally, Greater Lafayette Indivisible is giving members of the community a voice.

Greater Lafayette Indivisible President Lisa Dullum said Resistance Fairs start a conversation.

"Not only do they realize they're not alone, but there are things for them to do."

The fair welcomed members from twelve community organizations. Stacey Gipson leads Pride Lafayette and says these events give everyone the opportunity to step forward.

"I think empowering is the best word that I could have used," said Gipson. "It makes you feel not alone."

Greater Lafayette Indivisible will continue their movement next weekend with a women's march.
