WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A Purdue student was arrested on Monday after police found LSD and other drugs at a campus dorm.

At around 7:15 p.m., Purdue police responded to a report of possible drug activity at Owen Residence Hall.

Nineteen-year-old Sawyer Doup was arrested and taken to Tippecanoe County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing a schedule I drug, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Police say the investigation turned up 125 hits of LSD and 1 gram of "dab," a marijuana derivative.

In addition to criminal charges, Doup could face disciplinary action from the university. He has been barred from campus.
