Police investigate shooting in Tippecanoe County

The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that has left one person injured.

UPDATE: According to Detective Sergeant Robert Goldsmith, the victim in Thursday's night's shooting on Meadowbrook Drive has been identified as Tristan Fernandez. He is said to be in his 20s and suffered an injury to his upper body although it is not known whether or not it is life-threatening. No one is in custody or has been arrested, but people have been questioned by investigators. The investigation is ongoing.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that has left one person injured.

Deputies were called to a house on Meadowbrook Drive in Lafayette on Thursday at about 5 p.m.

They say a person was shot once and was taken to IU Arnett and was reported to be stable.

The victim has not been identified.

No arrests have been made in the case, but investigators did question people.
