LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Volunteers are working to make Columbian Park Zoo spooky for this year's Boo at the Zoo.

It is Oct. 25, 26 and 27. Events will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Children should come dressed in Halloween costumes. They will be able to play games and take part in activities like the Enchanted train ride, pumpkin carving and live entertainment.

Assistant Zoo Director, Noah Shields said a lot of work goes into planning Boo at the Zoo.

"This event runs on a lot of volunteers, we need a lot of volunteer support for this type of event because we have thousands of people coming to visit the event which means we also need thousands of people to help us put on the event," said Shields.

Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the gate. Click here to purchase tickets.
