WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - These presidential and vice presidential candidates may hail from different parts of the country, but they're united in their desire to "hail Purdue" as student body president and vice president.
Bobby Egan, a junior in the School of Management, attended junior high and high school in West Lafayette. Erin Whittaker, his running mate and a junior in the colleges of Agriculture and Liberal Arts, is originally from Texas, but chose Purdue because it "clicked" for her that Purdue was where she should be.
When Egan decided to run for president, he found Whittaker a clear choice for his running mate. Whittaker said that not only are she and Egan a good pair professionally, but their friendship has created a "solid foundation" for their campaign.
