WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Exponent) - Purdue University Student Health Center's new director said she will do whatever it takes to ensure PUSH is recognized as Purdue students' top choice for all their health needs.
Beginning Friday, Gail Walenga replaced James Westman, who served as the center's director for 22 years before retiring in 2012. Sarah Sayger had been serving as interim director since Westman's absence and will continue working for Purdue as a medical director and assistant health center director.
L. Tony Hawkins, the associate vice president for student affairs, said PUSH will continue to push its excellence through Walenga.
