The Salvation Army and WLFI are proud to sponsor the Coats for Kids program. We're teaming up with local businesses to accept new and gently used coats for local area children in need.
To support this effort, WLFI, Regions Bank, Pay Less Super Markets, Wabash National and Alcoa will be accepting gently used coats October 14 through October 25.
Coats may also be dropped off at Sparkletone DryCleaning, TNT Dry Cleaners, and Executive Dry Cleaners.

Donations may be dropped off at any participating Regions Bank, Pay Less Super Markets, Wabash National and Alcoa. Coats may be dropped off at The Salvation Army as well.
Coats will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 to 12 p.m. at 1100 Elizabeth Street in Lafayette.
While distribution is limited to one coat per person per household, other winter warm-up items will be available. Neither prior sign up nor identification is required to receive winter warm-up items.
It's been nearly a month since a tornado damaged Southwestern Middle School and Mintonye Elementary School, giving faculty the task of helping students transition to their new surroundings.
Donations are being accepted to help around 300 seniors receive a holiday gift.
Donations are needed for Food Finders Food Bank to aim at matching a grant that would match funds up to $20,000.
