A Lafayette native, Gina Quattrocchi can be seen anchoring weeknights on News 18 at 5 and 6 p.m.
Gina graduated from Purdue University in 1998, and began her broadcast career at WLFI that same year.
She started as a morning live shot reporter, and spent a few years as a regional reporter and anchor of News 18 This Morning and News 18 at Noon.
Gina went on to anchor News 18 at 6 and 11 for five years, covering local crime, city government and school boards.
In 2008, Gina left WLFI to spend more time with her family. In January 2010, Gina returned to news, and started a weekly special report, "Heroes Among Us." The series focuses on people making a difference in our community.
Gina entered Lin Television's Circle of Excellence and was named employee of the year in 2001.
Gina and her husband live in Lafayette with their two young sons.
