I love plants, the outdoors and farming; so gardening and hiking in nature preserves are my favorite things to do.
If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be?
John James Audubon, Tecumseh, James Pollard Espy, Benjamin Franklin (these two are fathers of meteorology in the 18th & 19th centuries), George Strait (seems like a down-home, laid-back guy from Texas that I feel like I can relate to)

Having a severe weather outbreak two days into the new job.
