Brittany Tyner joined WLFI in December of 2011 as a multi-platform journalist.
Brittany was born and raised in Delphi, Ind. She grew up watching WLFI and never missed a Friday Night Frenzy with her friends. Brittany played first base for the Lady Oracle softball team and was on the state championship Poms and Dance team while in high school.
Brittany attended Ball State University, where she studied Telecommunications with a focus in News. Her first experience in the newsroom was with the campus and student-owned nightly news program, NewsLink Indiana. Brittany worked for NewsLink Indiana for three years as a writer, reporter and news anchor.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys lake activities such as boating, tubing and fishing. She also enjoys cheering on her favorite NFL team, the Miami Dolphins.
Brittany is an avid traveler, having spent some time in Montreal and Quebec, Canada, and France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Brittany is excited to be back in her home area. She is looking forward to working with the community to bring the news to Greater Lafayette homes.
